This one surprises a lot of people because it isn’t a stereotypical palm tree paradise like most places I am desperate to get to! There is in fact more to me than the constant need for white sand and palm trees.
Myanmar (formerly Burma) is somewhere which unlike its neighboring countries hasn’t been safe to travel until very recently. There has been a lot of political unrest but they are now coming out the other side making it a really interesting place to visit. I want to see the real Myanmar, before it becomes heavily developed and looses any of its real charms.
Over 2000 Temples spread over 42km make up the Temples of Bagan. Often pictured with hot air balloons flying over them which looks phenomenal.
Inle Lake is famous for its floating villages and gardens. There are communities living entirely on the water … that certainly isn’t something you’ll see every day!
